Dr. Dee Fink is an expert in the field of pedagogy and technology. From 1979-2005 he conducted his research at the University of Oklahoma and now serves as a Professor Emeritus. At that university he served as the Founding Director of the Instructional Development Program. He recently served as the President (2003-2005) for the Professional & Organizational Development Network in Higher Education. The mission of this organization is to promote faculty development in colleges and universities throughout North America.
Dr. Fink completed his Ph.D. at the University of Chicago. His current research interests lie in the areas of learning and integrated course design, evaluating college teaching, instructional consulting, and faculty development programs. Honors and awards include a national teaching award presented by the American Association of Higher Education, the Jaime Escalante “Stand and Deliver” Award and the Outstanding Faculty Award, College of Liberal Studies, University of Oklahoma.
